 Queen of Europe pageant, begun in 1987, was run by the same
 organizers of the Queen of the World pageant. 
 Miss Sweden Europe International, Raquel Bruhn, became Miss Europe
 International in 1986 and was then given the title Queen of Europe 1986
 to crown her successor in 1987.
